For five days anyone who works in animation, motion graphics, graphic design, VFX, illustration or anything else having to do with digital graphics, will descend on downtown Los Angeles for SIGGRAPH 2012. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator/voice actor Steve Sievers will be a guest speaker on the ‘Getting Your Project Done” panel at SIGGRAPH Tuesday Aug 7th from 4 – 5 PM at the LA Convention Center.
Along with fellow guest speakers: AJ Tesler – a former Manager of Development for Lion Television and creator of creation of The Independent Television Festival and Andrew Cochrane – currently, Director/VFX Supervisor at Mirada Studios. After Party at San Diego Comic-Con held at Wet Willies in the gas lamp district. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt the award winning animated series creators hosted the party with charity Music Saves Lives and famous voice actors Neil Kaplan & Richard Epcar. See the mayhem SPBH (Steve Sievers & Dahveed) creators get into after having some drinks. At the after party was the world premiere of the SPBH latest animated PSA episode for Music Saves Lives ‘METAL IN MY SHELL’ The episode guest stars Dave Mustaine of Megadeth & Full Metal Jackie. Supa Pirate Booty Hunt co-creator, animator, & voice actor Steve Sievers, was a guest speaker on Digital LA 4th annual pre-comic con panel at the Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics. Steve joined writers, animators and VFX artists on the panel and shared how they use digital and social media to create, develop, Kickstarter-fund and promote their film, TV, web series and apps to fans and like-family communities.
