SUPA PIRATE BOOTY HUNT
CREATED BY DAHVEED KOLODNY-NAGY & STEVE SIEVERS
MEET CREATORS AT THE SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2010 BOOTH 5532 JULY 22-25th
WHAT: ROCK AND ROLL ON THE HIGH SEAS!
Supa Pirate Booty Hunt is the hit web series that follows the raunchy and hilarious adventures of Pirate-Captain Zack Stevers and his sidekick Daniel the turtle as they travel the seven seas in search of what else...booty! Viewers world-wide have laughed at Captain Stevers’ failed pick-up lines and unyielding determination to find love despite all calamities (the tough love of his disapproving and terrifying pirate paw, a shark that bites him repeatedly on the groin and a sea monster made entirely of boobs). The short form series has an international fan base that celebrates Supa Pirate Booty Hunt with fan clubs, art shows, concerts and even with Supa Pirate Booty Hunt tattoos! Fan demand has lead show creators Dahveed Kolodny-Nagy and Steve Sievers to design, develop, and produce an array of SPBH merch including a limited edition figure Daniel the turtle figure, SPBH t-shirts, buttons, bandannas, and other booty…including the Comic-Con 2010 Daniel the turtle limited edition Camouflage Figure! There is currently a long format version of the series in development

Steve Sievers (co-creator of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt and voice of Daniel the Turtle) says: "This project started as a skit on my internet college radio show back in 2004 called the Max Rock Show. [These next two sentences seem like it’s going off on a tangent- I would shorten] The radio show grew in success online by having guest bands in studio including: Good Charlotte, Silverchair, Bayside, & many others. My clothing line Level 27 Clothing was a sponsor of the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2004 which took me to every date of the two month tour across North America. I was shocked to meet so many people around the country that were into my pirate & turtle skit on my radio show. It was in Vancouver Canada that a girl asked me to do her cell phone voice mail as Daniel the Turtle, I knew then that I had to do something with this project. It wasn't until I teamed up with Dahveed that the characters really came alive and had a story behind them. Dahveed is an amazing artist and a very talented writer. We both share the same vision and goals for this project. To now have a successful project and a figure of a character I do the voice for and created is a dream come true. I hope to continue our online success of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt and expand the project to include other online media streaming sites and television."

Dahveed Kolodny-Nagy (co-creator of Supa Pirate Booty Hunt and art director) says: “Having created content for television properties, I am used to dealing with the necessity of many rules and restrictions. Working on Supa Pirate Booty Hunt has been one of the most liberating experiences because online anything goes. Steve (Sievers) is a great creative partner and we have a blast coming up with new ideas for the show. Being able to continue working on SPBH and keep a roof over my head is the dream and with the support of our fans I know it will become a reality.”
